Ajay Vallakati, M.D.
Ajay is a clinical assistant professor here at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India and completed internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in New York. He completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Medical Center, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
He specializes in the treatment of heart failure, cardio-oncology, and heart transplants. He is involved in comprehensive amyloidosis clinic at The Ohio State University, which is one of the first comprehensive clinics of its kind in the nation and the only one in Ohio to offer a single convenient location where patients can discuss treatment options with different amyloidosis experts. His outpatient practice will be based at the Ohio State Outpatient Care Clinic in Dublin and Carepoint East.
